A gas turbine is a rotating device that converts the hot flue gases resulting from air compression and combustion with gas into mechanical energy.
The gas turbine consists in a compressor and a combustion turbine.
Several models of compressors and combustion turbines are available here.

For a better understanding of the underlying physics, see Chap. 11 of {cite:p}`el19`.
